Idlib (Syria News) Three members of the National Front for Liberation were assassinated in Saraqib area, in the eastern countryside of Idlib Province.
Enab Baladi News reported that unidentified gunmen opened fire on the vehicle transferring members of the National Front for Liberation on the southern outskirts of Saraqib, killing three members immediately, and injuring three others.
The incident took place two days after the blast of a booby-trapped vehicle in a headquarters belonging to the National Front in Arabaeen Mountain area, in the city of Ariha, while no entity claimed the responsibility for the both attacks.
However, some militants belonging to the Islamic State group in Idlib have recently claimed responsibility for the killing of dozens of fighters and soldiers.
It is noteworthy that the recent incidents are coinciding with some news indicating that the Syrian army is planning to launch a new offensive in Idlib.
The National Front for Liberation is a Syrian rebel coalition formed in May 2018, as part of the Free Syrian Army.
