Hama (Syria News) Russia Syria war: Russian warplanes have intensified their air strikes on the Syrian rebels’ headquarters in the eastern countryside of Hama, backing Assad forces and their allied militias to advance into Idlib Province.

Informed sources told Enab Baladi News that six warplanes and a helicopter are bombarding the rebels’ headquarters in the villages of al-Mushairefa and Abu Dali, southeast of Idlib.

The air strikes on the eastern countryside of Hama, since the early morning, reached over 55, while Assad forces failed to advance into the area.

Meanwhile, regime forces are trying to penetrate the borders of Idlib Province from three axes, including the northern countryside of Hama, the eastern countryside of Hama and the southern countryside of Aleppo.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian regime forces are advancing amid clashes between the Islamic State and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham militia in the eastern countryside of Hama.
