7 persons killed, wounded in booby-trapped motorbike blast in Jarabulus

Aleppo (Syria News) Seven persons were either killed or wounded in the explosion of a booby-trapped motorbike in the city of Jarabulus, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, Enab Baladi News reported on Thursday.

Enab Baladi reported, today, that a civilian was killed, while more than six others were wounded, in a booby-trapped motorbike explosion that took place inside the market of the city of Jarabulus, in the northern countryside of Aleppo Province.

The blast took place while the market was witnessing an increased activity because of the holy month of Ramadan, the news outlet added. No entity or party claimed responsibility for the attack till the moment.

Last March, the city of Jarabulus witnesses several attacks using booby-trapped vehicles in different areas, leaving a number of casualties.

It is noteworthy that the Free Syrian Army-held areas in the northern and eastern countryside of Aleppo are witnessing frequent attacks using booby-trapped vehicles. The explosions are coinciding with the US-Turkish agreement on the withdrawal of the Kurdish troops from the city of Manbij
