Idlib (Syria News) The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Saturday, that Syrian warplanes carried out several air raids on the southern countryside of Idlib Province.
The SOHR revealed that Syrian warplanes carried out air strikes on areas in Hazarin Village, in the southern countryside of Idlib Province, killing one person and injured several others.
Meanwhile, a man and a child belonging to one family were killed in Arinbeh Village, in Shashabo Mountain, due air strikes carried out by warplanes on areas in the village, while regime forces shelled areas in Tal Aas Village in the southern countryside of the province, causing material damage, but no casualties were reported.
It is noteworthy that during the uprising since 2011, Idlib was the main points of protests in the early phase of the Syrian civil war. As the uprising descended into armed conflict, the province became the focus point of a rebel campaign, which temporarily captured the city and province, prior to a regime offensive in April 2012.
