Hama (Syria News) Five persons were killed, as an initial death toll, in an artillery shelling by Assad forces on the village of Lahaia, in the northern countryside of Hama Province.

Enab Baladi news reported that several artillery missiles fell, this morning, on the village of Lahaia, killing five farmers and wounding others, including women.

Meanwhile, local activists revealed that the shelling on Lahaia was launched from the Russian Camp in the city of Souran.

It is noteworthy that the shelling is considered that second attack that was launched near the Turkish checkpoint in the city of Morak, where a number of warplanes carried out raids near the Turkish checkpoint.
