Rif Dimashq (Syria News) A series of blasts hit the city of al-Qutayfah in Rif Dimashq as a result of the explosion of ammunition depots belonging to the Syrian regime due to the high temperature.

Pro-regime “Damascus Now” News network reported that a video footage showed smoke rising in al-Qutayfah, and pointed out that the blasts are due to the explosion of ammunition depots. It also added that the blasts are still heard in the area.

Meanwhile, social media activists informed that huge fire broke out in the depots after the blasts, while added that the depots are located behind the southern mountains in al-Qutayfah.

It is noteworthy that the area of al-Qutayfah and its vicinity has several troops and headquarters belonging to Assad forces, in addition to large depots, which suffered Israeli shelling in the previous years.
