Report: 13 civilians killed by Russian airstrikes in Yarmouk Basin

Daraa (Syria News) The Martyrs Documentation Office in Daraa has reported that 13 civilians, including, children, were killed by a Russian air strike, which was carried out on Yarmouk Basin area, in the western countryside of Daraa.

The office issued a report, today, documenting the killing of 13 civilians, mostly women and children, after being injured in air strikes and artillery shelling that were carried out on Yarmouk Basin, while pointed out that another civilian was killed during an indiscriminate gunfire in the province.

Meanwhile, Assad forces announced, yesterday, fully capturing the area of Yarmouk Basin, in the northwestern countryside of Daraa, after advancing against the Islamic State militants into the area.

Enab Baladi News explained that the “settlement groups” has executed a group of the ISIS militants, after an agreement made with the latter, while pointed out that some civilians were executed.

It also added that the regime forces arrested another groups of fighters, based on the full surrender agreement.

It is noteworthy that the area of Yarmouk Basin suffered heavy air strikes in the last few days, carried out by Syrian and Russian warplanes, which resulted in the killing of an unidentified number of civilians.
