Idlib (Syria News) Heavy mutual rockets shelling and aerial bombardment were carried out by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, backed by the Islamic factions and Syrian regime forces, backed by foreign militias in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday.

The clashes concentrated in the vicinity of al-Mushrifah village, which was controlled by the regime forces for hours, the observatory revealed. The regime forces were trying to maintain the city and extend their control over the whole area.

The battles were also accompanied with ongoing aerial bombardment on areas in the northern countryside of Hama Province and the southeastern countryside of Idlib, where over 18 air strikes were conducted on the village of Abu Dali, the vicinity of al-Rwaida, and towns of al-Latmnah and Kafr Zita.

The SOHR reported that at least 120 air strikes were carried out on the northern countryside of Hama, since the beginning of the fighting, at Sunday afternoon, in the countryside of Hama. The artillery and air strikes caused material damage to the citizens’ property and left several casualties.
