Islamic State launches heavy attacks on vicinity of Albukamal

Deir Ezzor (Syria News) The self-proclaimed Islamic State group (formally known as Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), has intensified its attacks on the headquarters of Assad forces, and their allied militias, in the vicinity of Albukamal City.

Informed sources told Enab Baladi that the attacks concentrated on the headquarters of Assad Forces in the eastern side of Albukamal City, in coincidence with a similar attack on the western side of the city.

Furthermore, clashes between Assad forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces took place in the area of Tabeyet Jazeera and al-Bahra Village.

The Islamic State launched several attacks on the headquarters of the security forces in Deir Ezzor, after withdrawing from the city of Albukamal, while announced killing dozens of Assad Forces in Mayadin area.

The movements of the Islamic State are coinciding with its clashes with the Syrian Democratic Forces in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on the Syrian-Iraqi Border.

It is noteworthy that pro-regime pages mourned the Leader in Baker Brigade, As’ad al-Hussien, and said he was killed in an attack by the Islamic State in eastern Deir Ezzor.
