Landmine explosion kills 2 persons in Afrin

Aleppo (Syria News) The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Sunday, that 2 persons were killed in an explosion of a landmine in Azaz area.

The SOHR revealed, today, that two persons were killes in Azaz area, after being injured in the explosion of a landmine, while they were moving in Afrin area, in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo Province.

Meanwhile, the Syrian regime forces also carried out artillery shelling on areas in Tel Bajer Village, which is located in the southern countryside of Aleppo Province, causing material damage; however, no casualties were reported.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish military launched an operation, codenamed Operation “Olive Branch” in the SDF-controlled Afrin District and Tel Rifaat Subdistrict. The offensive war carried out against the Kurdish-led Democratic Union Party in Syria, People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) headquarters around the Syrian city of Afrin in Aleppo Province.
