Idlib (Syria News) The military factions in the province of Idlib are preparing for an offensive against the regime troops in the towns of Kafraia and Foawa.
A military source in Idlib informed that the offensive will be carried out under the command of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, along with the factions deployed in both towns.
He also pointed out that the offensive will be a tool to force Iran to allow the remaining fighters to exit Kafraia and Foawa.
Meanwhile, Syrian army aviation has intensified its shelling, in the last few days, on Idlib Province, especially on the western area that extends from al-Shagour Brigde to al-Ghab plain area, in the countryside of Hama.
The recent developments are coinciding with assaults by the Islamic State group against leaders of the Free Syrian Army and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.
It is noteworthy that the towns of Kafraia and Foawa are located in the northern countryside of Idlib (seven kilometer away from the city of Idlib), and are connected via a 2-kilometer road.
