Mutual shelling between regime forces and Islamic factions in southern Aleppo

Aleppo (Syria News) The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Thursday, that the areas located in southern Aleppo have witnessed mutual shelling between the Syrian regime forces and the Islamic factions.

The observatory pointed out that unidentified gunmen attacked a vehicle, belonging to a Turkish-backed rebel faction and driven by a fighter, after parking in al-Ra’i border town, causing only damage to the area with no casualties.

Furthermore, areas in Atshana village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, were shelled by the regime forces, causing material damage, but no casualties were reported so far. The shelling was followed by targeting an attack carried out by the Islamic factions on headquarters of the regime forces in Kafr Haddad area; however, no information about casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and their allied militias.
