Hama (Syria News) Eight members of the Free Syrian Army’s coastal brigade were killed by a Kornet rocket fired by Assad forces stationed in the western countryside of Hama.

Enab Baladi News reported, today, that the opposition members were attacked on Ankawy-Qalidin in al-Ghab Plain area with the rocket, which killed them immediately.

Pro-regime media networks confirmed the rocket incident, and pointed out that the attack was carried out as a response to the latest attack on the Assad forces in the countryside of Latakia.

Assad forces followed new tactics in the last few weeks by attacking vehicles on Hama road using Kornet rockets, killing 12 persons in early May 2018.

It is noteworthy that the incident came ten days after a similar incident that took place on the road linking between the villages of al-Kahera and al-Mansoura, and resulted in the killing of the media activist Moamer al-Bakor.
