(Syria News) Syrian regime forces carried out a number of air strikes and artillery shelling on several areas in the provinces of Latakia, Hama and Daraa, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Saturday.
In Latakia Province, the regime forces carried out rockets shelling on areas in Jabal al-Akrad, in the northern countryside of the province, which witnesses daily shelling, causing material damage to the property of the citizens.
While in Hama Province, regime warplanes renewed their air strikes on areas in al-Arba’in Village, in the northern countryside of the province. Regime troops also carried out artillery shelling on areas in Tal Wassit, in the north-western countryside of Hama, while also shelled al-Zakah area, north of the province, causing only material damage with no human losses.
In Daraa Province, regime forces carried out artillery shelling on areas in Aqraba Town, in the northern countryside of the province, followed by heavy machineguns fire on areas in Daraa al-Balad, in the city of Daraa, which caused material damage; however, no casualties were reported.
It is noteworthy that since the start of the Syrian civil war, human rights groups said that the majority of abuses have been committed by the Syrian regime forces, while UN investigations have concluded that the regime abuses are the greatest in both gravity and scale.
