Hama (Syria News) Syrian regime forces shelled areas in Qastun Town in Ghab Plain, in the north-western countryside of Hama, while also shelled other areas, west of Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday.
The Observatory pointed out that regime forces shelled areas in the town of Qastun, in the northwestern countryside of Hama, leaving unidentified number of casualties, while also revealed that the regime forces also shelled areas in the villages of al-Amiqa, Zayzun and Duqmq in Ghab Plain, causing material damage; however, no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile in Aleppo Province, the Observatory reported that several explosions were heard in the west of the province, caused by shelling by the Syrian regime forces, on areas in Jam’eyyat al-Zahraa neighborhood, and the outskirts of al-Rashideen and al-Bohouth al-Elmia areas, west of Aleppo, without accurate information on casualties.
Furthermore, the Observatory stated that areas in Zitan Village, in the southern countryside of Aleppo, were shelled by the regime forces; however, no casualties were reported.
It is noteworthy that early this week, Russian warplanes, using thermobaric rockets, attacked a number of bridges in Al-Ghab Plain, including the bridges of al-Jayed, al-Shariyah and al-Tawinah. Russia pointed out that the air strikes on the cities and towns of the Syrian north were carried out due to the presence of Nusra Front in the area.
