Idlib (Syria News) Regime warplanes carried out air strikes on the areas located in Sheikh Mustafa Village, in the southern countryside of Idlib, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
The SOHR also revealed that Syrian regime forces attacked areas in the village, after midnight yesterday, and carried out rocket shelling on Jisr al-Shughur City and its countryside, before midnight yesterday, but no casualties were reported.
The warplanes also carried out several air strikes, this morning, on areas in Nqeir Village, in the southern countryside of Idlib Province.
Furthermore, the London-based Observatory reported, yesterday, that successive explosions hit several areas in the countryside of Idlib caused by regime forces shelling and air strikes on the area of al-Kfir, in the western countryside of the province.
Regime warplanes also carried out air raids on areas in the vicinity of al-Hebit Town and the vicinity of Abdeen Village, in the southern countryside of Idlib, with no information on injuries or casualties.
Moreover, regime forces shelled some areas in Abdeen Village, in conjunction with attacks on al-Tamanah Town and Mughr al-Hanta Village, in the southern countryside of the province.
It is noteworthy that during the uprising since 2011, Idlib was the main points of protests in the early phase of the Syrian civil war. As the uprising descended into armed conflict, the province became the focus point of a rebel campaign, which temporarily captured the city and province, prior to a regime offensive in April 2012.
