Report: 115 persons killed in As-Suwayda in September

As-Suwayda (Syria News) Suwayda 24 Network reported, on Sunday, that 115 persons were killed in the province, mostly in the desert area, in September 2018, within the battles taking place against the Islamic State group.

The report revealed that 108 persons were killed in the vicinity of Telul al-Safa area, in the desert of As-Suwayda, including 77 members of the regime forces and allied militias, and 31 members of the Islamic State group.

The regime forces casualties included prominent officers such as General Emad Mohsen Mohamed, and other officers who were all killed in the vicinity of Telul al-Safa area, in the desert.

The network also documented the injury of 93 members of the regime forces, and pointed out that they were transferred to different hospitals in As-Suwayda during the last month.

Furthermore, the report documented the killing of seven civilians in the city, three of whom in mysterious circumstances by unknown persons.

Last August, Suwayda 24 Network reported that 103 persons were killed in the province, mostly from the regime forces and Islamic State group, while added that the ISIS abducted more than 30 civilians, all women and children, in July 25.
