Daraa (Syria News) The Martyrs Documentation Office in Daraa has reported that 26 persons were killed in the offensive carried out by the Syrian regime forces on the countryside of Daraa and al-Qunaitra.
According to the report that was published today, 25 civilians, mostly women and children, were killed after being wounded in the shelling and raids carried out on the countryside of Daraa and al-Qunaitra.
This is in addition to the killing of a member of the Syrian rebel factions, during the ongoing clashes between them and Assad troops, which is trying to advance into the area.
Meanwhile, pro-regime media outlets stated that the shelling continues on the countryside of Daraa, and targets the terrorist groups in the city of Nawa and its vicinity.
The city of Nawa suffered a heavy shelling, using barrel bombs, in the last few hours, which resulted in the killing of seven civilians and wounding dozens others.
It is noteworthy that Assad forces managed to capture large areas of the western countryside of Daraa, in the last two days, after signing several settlement agreements.
