Deir Ezzor (Syria News) Syrian sources informed, on Saturday, that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces brought military reinforcements from its held areas, in preparation for an offensive against the Islamic State militants in al-Hajin area, in eastern Deir Ezzor.

The sources explained that the military reinforcements arrived in Deir Ezzor to retake the remaining areas from the Islamic State group in the countryside of the province, while added that a military convoy of 350 troops moved from Kendal area, west of Raqqa, toward the ISIS-held areas in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Meanwhile, the SOHR reported that the expected offensive is coinciding with other military preparations for another offensive in the southern sector of the countryside of Hasakah, against the Islamic State group.

The Syrian Red Crescent vehicles entered the areas of Yalda and Bebla, in the southern countryside of Damascus, to transfer the opposition’s casualties to the north of the country, based on the agreement with Russia, the SOHR added.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian regime forces continue closing Bebla Crossing, which is considered the only passage in the area, leading the humanitarian situation in the towns of Yalda, Bebla and Bayt Sahem to worsen.
