Syrian army troops foil terrorist attack on Zilaqiat Village north of Hama

Hama (Syria News) Syrian army troops managed, on Saturday, to foil a terrorist attack on Zilaqiat area, in the northern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that terrorist groups belong to al-Nusra Front and its allied militias attacked the area of al-Zilaqiat, in the northern countryside of Hama.

The army troops engaged with the terrorist militants and managed to thwart the attack, killing and wounding large number of casualties, SANA added.

Furthermore, army troops foiled, at noon yesterday, another terrorist attack on their headquarters on Zeyara-Masharee’ in Sahl al-Ghab, while also shelled their hideouts and supply lines in the towns of Zeyara and Masheek, leaving material and human losses.

It is noteworthy that several terrorist groups, belonging to Nusra Front, are stationed in some areas of the northern countryside of Hama, and carry out attacks on army headquarters and civilian property in the nearby villages and areas.
