Homs (Syria News) The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Saturday, that the Syrian regime forces have shelled areas in the countryside of Homs Province, while also shelled mountains in Latakia Province.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that the Syrian regime forces renewed their rocket shelling, this morning, on areas located in the northern countryside of Homs Province, including areas in al-Ghantu Town, but no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile in Latakia Province, the observatory documented that the regime forces have shelled several areas in Jabal al-Turkman (Turkman Mount) and Jabal al-Akrad (Kurds Mount), in the northern countryside of Latakia Province; however, no casualties were reported.
Earlier today, the SOHR reported that more than 1000 Syrian citizens were killed by 2250 raids carried out by the regime forces and their allied militias on the Eastern Ghouta in the last seven weeks.
It is noteworthy that Homs Province witnessed an offensive entitled “The Siege of Homs” that was a military confrontation between the regime forces, backed by foreign militia, and Syrian rebels in the city, where the regime forces besieged the city for three years and forced the rebels to withdraw from the city.
