Damascus (Syria News) Hundreds of families in eastern Ghouta are seeking shelter due to the violent shelling carried out by Assad forces, and its allied militias, using Guided Bombs (GBU), since last Sunday.
Ghouta Media Center reported that the initial outcome of the raids carried out by Assaf forces on eastern Ghouta was 8 persons; however, the debris buried nearly 47 persons including 40 women and children.
Furthermore, Civil Defense Teams are working on pulling out casualties from the debris, causing the death toll to increase to 55.
Meanwhile, an air strike was conducted on eastern Ghouta, destroying three houses, leaving more than ten families under the debris, while casualties’ number reached 250 persons since Sunday.
The raids of Assad forces were concentrated on the residential areas, in central Ghouta, in the areas of Saqba, Hamoreya, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Bayt Sawa, Jasrin, Zamlka and Doma.
Today, the death toll in Ghouta reached 41 persons, including: 20 persons in Kafr Batna, 4 persons in Saqba and Hamoureya, 6 in Doma, 8 in Bayt Sawa, one in Zamalka and two in Jasrin.
